LOS ANGELES (Sept. 20, 2017) —The public, including parents, students, community members, teachers and school administrators, is invited to comment at a public hearing on a Los Angeles Board of Education resolution regarding the sufficiency of textbooks and/or instructional materials for the 2017-2018 school year at schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District.
The hearing is scheduled to take place no earlier than 4 p.m. on Tuesday, October 3, at the Los Angeles Board of Education meeting, where the resolution will be received. The meeting will be held at the L.A. Unified's headquarters, 333 S. Beaudry Ave., First Floor, in the Board Room.
Those interested in speaking may obtain a “speaker card” on a first come, first serve basis, at the hearing.
