Earlier this year, the LA Fund for Public Education launched Grants Headquarters (Grants HQ), a program designed exclusively for LAUSD educators to gain access to millions of dollars of grant resources so that they are able to bring innovative learning experiences to the classroom. Grants HQ provides you with a free online grant database and all the tools and resources needed to secure education grant dollars. Currently, there are OVER 200 GRANTS in the database.
The LA Fund is offering two grant writing workshops, FREE for LAUSD educators:
- Saturday, Sept. 27 at Sony Pictures, Culver City
- Saturday, Oct. 18 at CBS Studios, Studio City
To register for a grant training workshop, please visit www.LAFund.org/GrantsHQ. Please contact us at RSVP@lafund.org with any questions. Or, you can reach the LA Fund at 310-912-3442.
See the attached flyer for additional details. If you have dreamed of finding the funding for the resources you need to bring your creative ideas to the classroom – go to www.lafund.org and sign up for Grants HQ.
The response to this program has been overwhelmingly positive. In under six months, the Grants HQ web page has been visited by hundreds of LAUSD teachers, and with the assistance of our grant specialist applications have been submitted for thousands of grant dollars.
