Your Voice Matters: LAUSD School Experience Survey

The School Experience Survey provides valuable information to stakeholders about LAUSD schools each year. Parents, staff and students (grades 3-12), will answer survey questions designed to measure our schools’ climate. The survey focuses on student social and emotional learning; the opportunity to learn; school cleanliness and safety; and parent involvement.

The data gathered through this survey will be reported in detail for each school this fall. In addition, the data will also be reported in each school’s School Report Card.

Parents and students are encouraged to take the survey online, once they receive the required individual numeric code from their school. Note that students with LAUSD-issued iPads must take the survey online.
  • Parent code numbers were included in the parent cover letter sent home.
  • Student code numbers are on the paper survey distributed to each student or on the postcard given to students at Common Core Technology Project schools.
  • School staff must complete their survey online.
Parents: If you are unable to take the survey online, please make sure to return the completed paper survey to your school by May 23.
