10/4/13 - ALL: Module 1 & 1.5 - Building Partnerships for Student Achievement

As school leaders, you know how important it is to engage your parents and community to set your school, and your students, up for success through honest, open dialogue. To help support this, the Parent Community Student Services Branch developed Modules 1 & 1.5 - Building Partnerships for Student Achievement, for leaders to use at their schools.

Module 1: Recommended for all schools, this module is to build and enhance home-school partnerships, which are focused upon student outcomes.The protocols and activities in this first module are designed to help school leaders foster stronger partnerships at their schools. PowerPoint, Facilitator Guide, and Partnership Agreement attached. 

Module 1.5: Also recommended for all schools, this module takes a deeper look at identifying and understand factors contributing to the qualitative and quantitative data at their school site. PowerPoint, Facilitator Guide, and Partnership Agreement attached. 

Further information about Modules 2, 3, and 4 will be coming soon. These additional modules are designed to assist a school community in examining their strengths and opportunities for growth in support of student achievement.
