LAUSD celebrates National Student Leadership week April 14-20. This year’s theme is, “Student Leaders: Raising the Bar.”
Student leaders help their fellow classmates engage in activities that enrich them academically and socially. These young leaders take on the responsibility of leading others to succeed not only in their schools but in their communities and among their families as well.
Presented by the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) and its four student programs, the National Association of Student Councils (NASC), the National Honor Society (NHS), the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS), and the National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS), National Student Leadership Week is celebrated each April to highlight the value of student leadership and service in the nation’s schools.
