New Partnership Kickoff with LA Trade Tech College

WHAT: Great Outcomes (G.O.) Tech Central to kick-off program that will enable students to enroll at
Los Angeles Trade Tech College while earning their high school diploma at their enrolled high schools.
This new partnership with L.A. Trade Tech will allow students to earn certificates of their selected job fields and be ready to enter the workforce.

BACKGROUND: G.O. Tech Central is a partnership between School Board Member Mónica García, the Los Angeles Unified School District-Local District Central, Los Angeles Trade Tech College and Cal State L.A. Their mission is to promote a college-going culture and to offer pathways to academic, career, and transfer success.
Participating Pilot Schools: Orthopaedic Hospital Senior High School Medical Magnet, West Adams Preparatory, Santee Education Complex, Maya Angelou Community School, and Early College Academy High School.
