WHAT: Two Medal of Honor recipients who served in the Army during the Vietnam War will
speak about courage, integrity and resilience to hundreds of elementary and middle
school students. The military veterans are among only 76 living recipients of the
Medal of Honor, which is the nation’s highest award for valor in military action.
Their visit is sponsored by the nonprofit Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation,
which promotes the values of courage, sacrifice, service and patriotism.
