‘Jeopardy’-style event showcases Digital Citizenship Week

WHAT: Digital Citizenship Week promotes lessons and practices that empower students to connect and collaborate online as they deal with issues including cyberbullying, privacy, safety and security.
The District’s Instructional Technology Initiative (ITI) partners with the nonprofit Common Sense Education to create and foster digital citizenship efforts in L.A. Unified. This includes an annual showcase to help build awareness of just how connected and visible we are when it comes to digital spaces.
This year’s showcase features Robert Frost Middle School students participating in “Digital Citizenship Week Jeopardy,” a game show-style competition about online issues. Disney Channel actor Issac Ryan Brown (“Raven’s Home”) will join students during the daylong competitions, with actress Landry Bender (“Best Friends Whenever”) speaking during a lunchtime assembly.
