Statement Regarding the Arrest of an LAUSD Employee

June 26, 2012 -- Officials of the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) were notified by the Los Angeles Police Department that Pedro Cruz Trujillo, a Kennedy High School assistant baseball coach and education aide, was arrested and charged with six counts of child endangering. The LAUSD had removed Trujillo from the campus in May when the incident was brought to the District.

Once arrested by LAPD and charged with child endangering involving marijuana,Trujillo was fired from both of his positions with the District.
