L.A. Rams Challenge High School Football Players to Academic Competition

WHAT:
The Los Angeles Rams and the Los Angeles Unified School District are joining
together to offer the Los Angeles Rams High School Football Academic
Challenge involving: Crenshaw High School, Eagle Rock High School, Fairfax
High School, and San Fernando High School.

Rams executive Johnathan Franklin will kick off the program this year at each
participating school, presenting a character development session themed
around the “power of choices and goal-setting.” When the football season
ends, each team’s grade-point average will be calculated. The winning team
receives a $2,500 grant to purchase football equipment, an invitation to attend
a Rams home game and recognition on the Rams website.
