WHAT: The men and women of the Los Angeles School Police Department will host National Night Out 2017 at two locations, celebrating police/community partnerships and unity. The night includes food, music, live performances, activities and games.

WHO: At Manual Arts HS:
School Board Member Dr. George J. McKenna, III, District 1
School Board Member Nick Melvoin, District 4
Chief Strategy Officer Edgar Campos, Board Member Mónica García, District 2
Los Angeles School Police Deputy Chief Armando Farias

At San Fernando HS:
School Board Member Kelly Gonez, District 6
Los Angeles School Police Chief Steven Zipperman

WHEN: Tuesday, August 1

TIME: 5-9 p.m.

WHERE: Manual Arts High School San Fernando High School
4131 South Vermont St. 11333 O’Melveny Ave.

Remarks are scheduled to begin at 6:15 p.m. at both schools. Following the speakers at San Fernando HS, doves will be released.
