Superintendent Michelle King is convening the second L.A. Unified Sharing Promising Practices Together Forum scheduled on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at the Julian Nava Learning Academies. We invite all school site leaders from all grade levels and school models to learn about services and programs for our adolescent youth.

The forum calls attention to the academic and socio-emotional needs of our learners during the middle school years, and how student achievement can be accelerated by leveraging the neuroscience of learning.

Please register today with members of your school leadership teams to enjoy:

·         A lineup of talented and passionate educators presenting a diverse offering of workshops about programs and services for adolescent youth.

·         Keynote introducing the importance of leveraging the neurology of education and its relationship to teaching and learning.

·         Breakfast and lunch with a network of public school educators representing school models from across L.A. Unified.

Register for the event by visiting the following link:  https://registerpromisingpractices.eventbrite.com.
